Ground Beef Nachos

A healthier take on a classic comfort food.

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Siete tortilla chips (their Dip Chips also work great)

  • 1/2 pound grass-fed ground beef

  • 1 can kidney beans

  • 1 can black beans

  • Taco seasoning (Siete makes a great one or make your own)

  • 1 cup grass-fed shredded cheddar cheese

  • To serve

    • Salsa

    • Guacamole

    • Sour cream (opt for an organic grass-fed option)

    • Pickled jalapeños (Rio Luna is my favorite brand)

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef.

  2. Add the cans of beans and taco seasoning with a splash of water to the beef. Stir well, cover and simmer.

  3. Lay chips out on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.

  4. Top chips with beef/ bean mixture and shredded cheese.

  5. Bake on 350°F for about 5-7 minutes or until your desired crispiness is reached.

  6. Top with fresh salsa, guacamole, sour creams and lotsss of pickled jalapeños.
